  رپورٹ برائے ۵۵ویں نشست   ٢۷ جنوری، ٢٠٢٠ء کو "محبانِ اردو ادب" کی 55 ویں نشست شعبۂ اردو میں منعقد کی گئی جو کہ اس سال کی پہلی نشست بھی تھی۔ نشست کا آغاز سوا بارہ بجے ہوا اور طلبہ کی آمد نے نشست کی رونق کو دوبالا کر دیا، جن میں سے اکثریت شعبۂ اردو سے تھی۔  صدر کا عہدہ اویس شاہ، کتابت کا محمد بلال اور نظامت کا عہدہ فریال زہرا نے سنبھالا۔ صدرِ شعبۂ اردو ڈاکٹر رفیق احمد خان مہمانِ خصوصی تھے۔ نشست کی ابتدأ حمزہ نے اپنے غزل سے کی۔ ہمارے  لہجے  کی  تلخیاں  راز  کھولتی ہیں ہماری   ہستی  میں   ہجر  خانہ  بنا  ہوا  ہے ہماری نسلیں نشے کی شدت سے مر رہی ہیں یہ  عشق   تو  بےچار ہ  بہانہ   بنا   ہوا   ہے اسمأ جتوئی نے خوش گلوئی سے اپنی غزل پیش کی اور اویس شاہ نے "مکافاتِ عمل" پر اپنا تجزیاتی افسانہ۔ صدرِ شعبۂ اردو ڈاکٹر رفیق احمد خان نے طلبہ کو مخاطب کرتے ہوئے کہا۔ کہانی سنانا انسان کی فطرت ہے، چاہے وہ قصہ ہو یا ر...

Inheritance and Culture    Reporter : Narmeen Surahio (Urdu Department, University of Sindh, Jamshoro)  Reporter : Narmeen Surahio  Students of 2k18 batch (second year) of Urdu and Sindhi Departments gave  Cultural Theme Presentation under the supervision of Ma'am Sobia (English Lecturer) on 25th March, 2019. The presentation was conducted on different cultural themes specially highlighting the Muslim country's culture. Sufism and Culture of some Paksitani Cities were also discussed. There were different groups representing different countries by wearing their cultural dresses, information on charts and flip cards, bringing traditional food of the countries respresented and discussed the cultures and rituals.  It was a good effort of students and teacher to represent cultures and acknowledge necessary to celebrate diversity.
